- This
year-long project
involved the
complete demolition
of an existing
patient care
unit to open
up the floor
plan for installation
of a full-function
laboratory,
office suites
and conference
room.
- The
specifications
for this project
included significant
use of specialized
materials which
required highly-skilled
construction
expertise Included
in this project
were the installation
of specialty
metal casework,
chemical resistant
epoxy shelves
and work surfaces,
and a three-tiered
shelving system
mounted on a
heavy duty strut
system.
- Additional
requirements
called for installation
of standard
materials in
a specialized
manner, including
seamless flooring
at lab stations,
medical gas
outlets and
upgraded mechanical
systems.
- The
final phase
of this project
involved the
relocation and
installation
of a wide variety
of laboratory
equipment including
incubators,
specialized
microscopes
and laboratory
refrigerators
and freezers.
- In
addition to
construction
services, GreenCrest
provided overall
coordination
of this extensive
project including
managing all
tradesmen involved
in the project
and procuring
the furnishings.
