Gilbane named GreenCrest as a recipient of its Trade Contractor Excellence award for their work as part of a major renovation project at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Project # G-1978

This award is Gilbane’s way of thanking GreenCrest for all the hard work and perseverance they put in day in and day out for us.

Project Description: Furnish and Install Drywall Partitions, Doors, Frame, & Hardware; construct a Penthouse enclosure for the mechanical and electrical equipment to be installed on the roof; subcontract the new skylights to be installed; construct a new mailroom; and install various masonry walls in the lowest basement level to create new mechanical rooms for equipment. Coordinate with Gilbane Building Company’s other subcontractors to assure that the project was installed according to the drawings and specifications.

There have been numerous meetings to coordinate installation details with various other sub-contractors and that the installation was completed as scheduled.

We have been on the site of this project since September 2007 and have responded to the specific needs and restrictions placed on us by the hospital. The current schedule has us completing our portion sometime in June 2009.
